Campfire Philly Cheesesteak at camp

Campfire Philly Cheesesteak

A cheesesteak is not a good idea when you're backcountry camping. I blended the steak in a blender before I even got there, so it was all tiny little pieces, and they scattered everywhere. It took me over an hour to make, and there was steak all over the campsite. I ended up leaving in the middle of the night because I was too scared of animals coming to eat it all.

This Philly cheesesteak has taken me over an hour.

  3. Lay a slice of provolone on top, let it melt, and pile it on the bread.
